Jennifer Lopez Just Served Up the Ultimate Fashion #TBT

Jennifer Lopez has come a long way since she was Jenny from the Block, not least of all in her fashion sense. These days, her wardrobe is more polished than streetwise, but every now and then, she’ll throw it back in a look that magically combines both. That’s what she did earlier this afternoon when she stepped out in New York wearing a heather grey tracksuit that felt like a modern, grown-up take on the bubblegum-pink Juicy Couture velour separates she made famous in her 2001 music video, “I’m Real.” Lopez’s sweats were trimmed in a metallic side stripe, which elongated the silhouette and added a diva-appropriate touch of shine. She kept the tone-on-tone message going with silver mirrored shades and suede ankle booties with exposed zippers. The choice of shoe felt more sophisticated than a sneaker, and she took that idea and ran with it by carrying her trusty  Hermès Birkin  instead of a gym tote. Logic's "1-800-273-8255" Goes 2X Platinum

Logic's "1-800-273-8255" scores another platinum plaque.

After making the announcement that he was working on his debut novel, Logicrecently came through with even more good news. The Everybody rapper took to Instagram to share the news that his Suicide-prevention single "1-800-273-8255" recently went double platinum, selling over two-million album equivalent units. Ultimately, that's pretty impressive, considering the fact that an estimated zero people ever spoke the actual song title out loud. Still, Logic deserves some props for this one, especially considering the vulnerability he showcased on the track itself.
In case you missed it, Logic previously performed a rendition of "1-800-273-8255" at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards, in which 50 suicide attempt survivors stepped out to join the rapper on stage. Afterward, Logic delivered a rousing speech, clamoring for social justice and equality for all. Clearly, his message resonated with a lot of people, and there's a strong case to be made that "1-800-273-8255" is Logic's most important single yet.
Whether or not you enjoy his music and overall image, you can't deny that Logic has been enjoying a successful year this. His Everybody album is currently gold, and if "1-800-273-8255" continues to be successful, it might push the album to the next level. Either way, it's a big W for Logic, and for anyone who has ever struggled with mental health issues.
So once again, props to Logic for proving you can be commercially successful and socially relevant, while making the music you want to make. It might not be for everybody, but as long as it's important for some, that's all that matters. Stay tuned for more on Logic, and if you haven't yet checked out Everybodythere's no time like the present.
